Seminar in detail

Where do I find strength when I encounter my weakness? Or wholeness when I encounter my brokenness? Or acceptance when I see my selfishness? Hope in my grief? Peace from my anxiety? Rest in my weariness? In the every-day reality of following Jesus, we encounter situations that reveal our neediness – a neediness that can only find its sufficiency in God Himself. The Lord tells us that as we fix our gaze on His glory, His Spirit transforms us (2 Cor. 3:18). At this Saturday Seminar* Jeff Newman will demonstrate how knowing God is critical to our life as a disciple of Jesus Christ. We will explore how specific attributes of God help us navigate the real-life struggles, choices, surprises, questions, and joys we face. Dr. Newman’s teaching will nourish our own souls and equip us to guide brothers and sisters to find their sufficiency in who God is.
